Tyler officially turned 6 on Sunday, February 22. It's amazing how fast time flies. I remember it like it was yesterday, waiting and waiting and waiting for my first nephew, the first grandchild, the first little one in our family in 20 years!!! AND now..that little one...is not so little anymore. Little or not, we throw a roaring good party for one spoiled little boy!

Of course we had a Denver Broncos cake, courtesy of ....ME! Unfortunately this is the only picture I got of the day as my camera has a huge spiderweb like crack in the screen...sad day!

It’s Friday the 13th…oooo…which most of us tend to think about superstitions or scary movies, so in the spirit of THIS Friday the 13th, I decided to share 13 things that seriously scare the crap out of me!

1. spiders – oooo..even the word is just disgusting and gross and I really …I can’t even handle being in the same room as a spider. I will scream like a little girl!
2. pedophiles – yeah..enough said!
3. burglars - just something super freaky about someone breaking into your home/your haven/your safe zone….HELLO? scary!
4. debt – Aren’t we all?
5. cancer – I could probably blame this on the fact that everything seems to cause cancer these days.
6. creepy people - I mean seriously….there are some creepy people out there and they just creep me out!
7. losing my legs – or any limb for that matter. I’m a wimp. I couldn’t handle it.
8. snakes – just so slithery and sneaky and …….scary!
9. dying alone - wouldn’t that just break your heart?
10. drowning – wow..or falling to my death…ugh..I don’t even like thinking about it.
11. heights – I don’t mind being up high so to speak, but there is no getting close to the edge for this girl!
12. scary movies – I love em’ and I hate em’!
13. close dark places - *shudder* NOW THAT’S SCARY!

SLC woman loses record-breaking fingernails in crash

The Guinness World Record for longest fingernails was broken Wednesday, so to speak.
The fingernails Salt Lake City resident Lee Redmond has been growing since 1979 were broken off in a four-car pileup Wednesday in Holladay, said Salt Lake County sheriff's spokesman Don Hutson.
Redmond was a passenger in one of the cars in the 1:30 p.m. crash. She and at least two others were taken to a hospital with minor injuries, Hutson said. She was ejected from the vehicle, Hutson said.
Redmond's nails were 33 inches long when The Tribune last interviewed her in 2007. She then was 66. In a 1995 article, she said she once turned down $10,000 to trim her nails on Japanese TV.

Wait a minute Mr. Postman...

I think the Postman made a mistake today................

He delivered a Summons, which states:

You have hereby been selected to appear before the Albany County District Court of the Second Judicial District of the State of Wyoming, to serve as a Juror for the 2009 Spring Term of the Court. The Spring term, which lasts six months, begins March 16, 2009 and runs through September 14, 2009. WHAT?????

This has to be a mistake.....I'm sorry....I don't wanna do my civil duty! Please Mr. Postman...take it back!!!!!!

Dear Honorable District Court Judge:

Thank you for inviting me to be a juror for the 2009 Spring Term, at this time I will have to decline this your generous invitation. Thanks for thinking of me and don't think of me again, please.
