Seriously!!

Who has to travel clear across the country to ride in a stretch hummer limo? Ok..I guess that would be me! Seriously!! It was one of the coolest things I've ever seen or done! Ok, well that and watching Janine fall down two times the other night. Oh and get this, she fell down got up...walked seriously 20 feet and fell down again! Holy cow! I've never laughed so hard! Our friend Will was doubled over and through fits of laughter he said "If anyone was watching from a window...they would think you were sloshed!" We laughed even harder...I could barely breathe! Oh the fun! Life really is better with all the little laughs and those unique perks. Those once in a lifetime things. SERIOUSLY!!!

Tyler Aaron Nelson

There are no words that can fully explain why nephews are so great, they just are!

Cowboys!!!

Cowboy take me away

Fly this girl as high as you can

Into the wild blue

Set me free oh I pray

Closer to heaven above and

Closer to you closer to you

Oh how we love the cowboys in our lives! Such good hearted, home grown, nice guys!

Play Dress Up

Girls will be girls! From the days of running around the neighborhood in a ballerina tutu, plastic high heels, and carrying my glitter baton to the present, I will never outgrow dressing up. I will definitely never outgrow the feather boa! Woohoo! I think every girl is born with the right of passage to “play dress up” forever! Of course, I wish I could “play dress up” and attend the Oscars, but for now I’ll settle for dressing up for special occasions, work, church, dates, and anytime that a girl gets the notion. So to every girl out there, dress up, have fun, and be young!

Strike a pose...

A once in a lifetime photo shoot!!! Some fancy photographer by the name of Tyler Aaron Nelson snapped the greatest shots ever! I should probably send them in to numerous modeling angencies. As you can clearly see, the top half of my head is cut off. Woohoo!! He was quite tickled each time the camera clicked. His little laugh is so infectious and super cute. I can say without a doubt, spending time with him truly makes my heart smile.

Girls and gang signs

Yep, we all do it! Even after being aware that it's pretty silly to do, do I stop? Heck no! So, I've come to the conclusion that there isn't any need to explain why or to cure myself, but to just accept it, embrace it, and press forward. Sometimes we even make ridiculous gang signs, but it's just what we do!

Pharmacy Boy.

Why do people create nicknames for people? Sometimes a nickname is just a shortened version of our real name. It makes sense, right? Sometimes a nickname is a term of endearment, "honey" "sweetie" "babycakes" ok, so maybe not so much on the last one. Some nicknames are created by an event or an inside joke. My friend Jared was telling us about the different ways to spell his name. He said "sometimes it's spelled with an "e", but most of the time it's spelled with an "o" at the end. Being the sarcastic gang that we are, someone quickly jumped into say "So what your name is pronounced "Jared-o" The laughing went on for hours and the nickname stuck! Some nicknames derive from the fact that you might not know the person very well, so you pick something that you can associate with that person and create a name. For example, I knew this guy, but didn't know his name, but I knew he drove a Honda Civic. So I called him "The Civic Guy". Guess what? The name stuck! Now, why do some people, mostly guys, use the same form of nickname creating, but it seems more like a cut down. Some guys in reference to another guy will choose something about another guy that they don't like or don't relate to and slap boy on the end or a "y". Examples of this; "Pharmacy boy", or "Baldy" and so on. I dont get it. I do like dishing out the nicknames. Beware!!
